Too Much cover...Live..Pls critique! thanks!
Hey everyone
This is my friend and I playing Too Much at a fundraiser for some camps we work at. I am playing acoustic and he's playing electric. The mix is good, the rest is up for you to judge! Unfortunately the guy who mixed it for us cut the second half out, which included some of Usher's "yeah". The idea may sound weird but I thought it sounded cool! I should have it next week, so if there's some interest I'll put it up.
This was only our 2nd time playing live and I definitely welcome any comments/critique/suggestion...Thanks alot!

well, I definetly am not to crazy about the effects on the electric, sounds like a phaser or something, but I don't think it fits......put a nice cry baby wah on that part and you'll be much closer to the, oh wait, I was typing this as I listened to it and the wah just kicked in, and now it's gone......hmmm......I like the wah better than the other effect. Other than that and a few flat notes by the singer I'de say it's an energetic performance.

yeah i dont like the effects very much. Whoever mixes this should have the vocal louder. i am hearing too much effects. The vocal is rushed at some parts and lacking some good notes.

i prefer clean acoustic personally, but alot of peopledo like the effects. the vocals sounded decent, but i couldnt hear them too well. you should try to sing the chorus and not talk thrugh it. otherwise good
dmbtabs, welcome to it!
