Dunlop Tortex .60s. The orange ones. He doesn't have the Dunlop Tortex symbol, though, he has a DMB logo thing on them.
Peace,

Naw, the standard ones:( I probably could get a friend of mine to etch the logo into the pick, then paint it gold or something(the logo) but nah, too much time/effort

Yeah, I really like the .60s. I've tried a lot of picks and these are hard enough to accentuate picking single notes but still soft enough to make your strumming sound good.

i had really only used one kind of pick before i tried the tortex .60. the only reason i got those was cuz dave uses them. i really dont see much of a difference. maybe if i use a bunch of different picks i could see a difference, but the type of pick really doesnt matter to me, i just use these cuz dave does  .

find what info? what type of picks he uses? I have no clue, but people here find it out with a snap of the fingers... I use Dava Control Picks for electric playing, sometimes tortex .60 for it too.. always use the .60 tortex for acoustic playing.. :)

I love the sound of the .60's, 6String. They're thick enough to not be flimsy, but you can bend em if you'd like.

When I strum w/a heavy or hard pick, I really don't like the sound of the attack on the strings. I find a lighter pick "blends" the notes together better.

IMO, the .60's have the perfect balance of thickness for singling out those notes and riffs and thinness (is that a word?) to make your chord strumming sound great.
Peace,

Stunt

I use the .6s and love them. I didn't buy them because Dave uses them either because I was using before I found out he uses them. From the videos I've seen I THINK Howie Day uses them too. (the only basis I have for this info is that I saw him holding an orange pick)
