Unread post by a1075dd63aa12 » Sun Jan 02, 2005 4:13 pm

Ive been trying to learn this damn song forever and I just cant get it, i can get the chorus and the break down fine, the only part i really struggle with is after the 2^3^2 bend, any help or anything that helped you click when learning it would be great

Umm..I suggest using your ring and middle finger to bend it easier. Personally, I don't, but I used to and it was easier to pull the bend off and get to the next chord. Just bend to what seems to be a half step, release it and keep going. Only advice I can really think of.

try hitting the 2 then bending it, and while your still bending hit the 3 and maybe bend it a little farther, then let go and hit the 2 again

Umm.. B: ---2^3^2--- means bend a C# so it sounds like a D and release it back to C#..Unless I'm completely wrong..because that's how I've always played it and it sounds right to me

notewise you are absolutely correct
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

but the way the guy i quoted said it, he made it sound like you bend the C#, then the D, then the C# again

I pick it like this:

Code: Select all

B--0-U----
G--2-D----
D--2-U---
if that's what you're asking

warehouse isn't that hard of a song. People that say it's hard are completely over analyising it

You are right, Warehouse is easy to play generically, but getting that rthymn down and playing it properly with all the muting is a whole other story.

Okay..be a jackass. You're over analyising the song though, bro. It's not that hard.
