I bought a $300 guitar last year and now it seems not up to par. But It will take to long to save up for a better one and I dont want to sell it. I was thinking I will just fix it up.
Its an Ibanez PC300 CE NT. I was thinking of replacing the nut and saddle with Ivory ones or something not plastic. And possibly change the tuners. Anyone have any suggestions of where I can get these or which ones I should get? I want to stay fairly cheap so no bridge changes or anything in the hundred(s) dollar range.

a guitar like that isn't worth the modifications, but if you choose so, I get all my supplies from http://www.guitarsaddles.com they have the cheapest rates I've seen on saddles, nuts, and bridge pins...
saddles, nuts and pins don't make a lower end guitar sound like a higher end, they simply make a good guitar sound even better...
