yo there's no way to push back the entry time a week or two is there? if not no big deal... just a suggestion in case there are more people out there like myself who would love to participate but who need to plan to record and find a way to post the recordings...if not though, good luck to all and i'll be looking forward to hearing your work...peace.

Well it doesn't look like we're flooded with entries - how does Thursday of next week (week from today) sound?

well that still may be too soon....but obviously don't change it on the account of just me, we can always have other contests... but if you sent out an update/reminder for the contest everyday (with the rules and regulations included obviously) until the due date i'm sure more and more people would see it over time and would be able to sign up/submit their entries for the contest...awesome idea though, this should happen more often on this site...a little entertainment in an otherwise dull work life...(sorry for starting discussion on this particular thread too, i just noticed you had mentioned not to do that, my b)

No prob. Well I'm not sure we can delay it much past that, but see if you can get an entry in anyway! The more the merrier, I say..

All right, it doesn't look like we're gonna have many entries by tomorrow night
Let's push it back to next Monday, July 21. (I won't be here that Sunday because I'll be at a dmb concert. that's right beeyatch.)

I've got mine in. I'm not totally happy with it as I used a soundhole pickup and it sounds kind of electric. I may try to re-record it before Thursday and overwrite the MP3 with the new one, but if I don't get to it, at least there's one up there.
Come on people get your recordings in!

I put up my new one. I have a head cold though so when you guys listen to it, you may notice the vocals are a little "nasally".
Hope others are participating...

Hi guys,
I'm new around here, and this is the first time i've ever recorded anything, so it's not great, but it was fun to do anyways. I apologize for my lack of singing abilities.
