What I want to do is record the pickup signal as one track, and the mic signal as another track, then blend the sources to get the sound I want...
Anyone know of any software I could use to do that?
I'm gonna try Cake Walk Home Studio, but I'm still open for any suggestions...

Any good quality recording software will do multitrack recording, the issue is having a recording device that has multi-track capability. Most sound cards will only allow you to record one input at a time. Search for multitrack recording sound cards on google or something.. you'll find that they can become expensive because they are relatively low-demand soundcards compared to normal soundcards.

Oh ok.. That device uses ASIO. You need to have software that is ASIO compatible. A short list that I can find is: Nuendo, Cubase, Logic Audio, Deck 2.7, Reason, Live, Digital Performer, Sonar V2.2. A notable absence from this list is Cool Edit Pro. I would recommend Nuendo or Sonar, as they are often the choice of many studio's, but they can set you back some money.. Also, I personally have issues running Sonar 2.2 in conjunction with WME (Windows Media Encoder) v9.. which boils down to, just don't upgrade DirectX or your Media Player. Hope my rambling is of some use to you.

I kind of figuered a way to do it with Cool Edit Pro...
I have to pre blend the sources with the Creative Mixer, then select "What U Hear" as my recording source...
It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it is kind of working for me...
I'm gonna check out that other software, thanks for the help...

I'm looking to do something similar. However, one track will work for me. My setup consists of Cool Edit Pro, a soundhole pickup with a 1/4" --> 1/8" reducer (mono), my PC mic (stereo, so I still need a stereo to mono 1/8" converter). Finally I have a 1/8" mono --> mono dual input adapter which will combine the two signals into one mono signal. I'm trying to blend the soundhole mic and PC mic signals into one. I like the sharpness of the soundhole mic but you lose some acoustic qualities, primarly pick sounds and some of the bass. I hope adding the PC mic will pick up some of those features.
However, Radio Shack makes a 1/8" mono --> stero dual input adapter which will combine the two signals into one stereo signal (L and R channels). Pehaps then you can use Cool Edit Pro to split the channels into separate tracks? These $4 adapters may be a cheaper solution than buying a new sound card. Hope this helps. Once I get my missing converter, I'll post a track so you can see how it sounds.
