Re: HUGE Score At Work Today!!!
Do you need some of that stuff to make the DVD or do you just wanna sell some of it to cove costs. Whatever the case let me know what youd be looking to get, if its not something I honestly would want to keep for myself I could probably hook you up.jkanter wrote: How would you like to donate some of that equipment to me for the DMBTabs.com DVD??? It would help cut down on some of the costs and sure would be a kind gesture![]()

I was talking about actual equipment that you found that I would use to make the DVD. The only things I can really see there that I would be able to use would be the mic cables, mic stands, tuner, and various plugs. This also depends on a few things....mostly quality of products. I will be buying mic cables that are about $25 each(need 2 of em) and gold plated various plugs. As for the mics stands...I wil be needing 2 mic stands with adjusdable booms. I'm not sure if anything I need fits into those categories but it's not that big of a deal anyway. The most I would probably save is around $150 max. It would be cool, but lemme know.....peacejsgksu wrote:Do you need some of that stuff to make the DVD or do you just wanna sell some of it to cove costs. The tuner is a little pocket piece of shit that you probably wouldnt want, I know I dont. I have one mic cable and a few that have a mic input on one side and a guitar type plug on the other, as for various plugs I dont really know what I have but its not a whole lot in that department. Of the two mic stands one is kinda crappy and the other one appears to be for micing a drum set. So I guess I dont really have a whole lot to offer you, I could probably send you a few cords if theyre the kind youre looking but I dont know theyre quality and I havent tested anything yet. I dont think anything is gold plated but I could look. Give me some more specifics in a pm and Ill get back to you in a day or in a week when I get back from vacation.

Well, in addition to what started this thread (old job) and my microfridge, apple laptop, memory sticks, t-shirts and other random shit Ive gotten from my new job. Today, I got the best thing so far, a BenQ FP731 17" Flat Panel Monitor:

When I got home, it wouldnt work, I called tech support and they said to take it to a different computer and use different cables. I brought it to a friends, plugged it in and it still didnt work. So I called them back, he asked for my product #, I read it off, he said it was still under warranty and gave me an address to send it to.
It cost $16.00 to ship, itll be there in two days, takes 3-5 days for repair/replacement and 2 days to ship back to me. I got a $230.00 17: Flat Panel Monitor for $16.00.
We had a work order to pick up some old, broken computers/printers/monitors on campus (this happens daily) normally theyre just 6+ y/o Dell's, nothing youd want. But today there was a flat screen in the pile. They were getting rid of it because it didnt work, and they dont give a fuck about repairing it or anything because they can just order a new one from the university. Ill have it by next friday!

I'd be legitimately interested in that drum mic kit.jsgksu wrote:Wanna share your wealth and send me $150 for it. Just kidding, me and my friends have some songs we made up and we want to record them someday. I had thought of selling some of the stuff that I wont use right now but Id probably wish I had the stuff later in life. If I get hard up for cash I might sell some of the stuff but not anytime soon, sorry man.fatjack wrote:wanna share the wealth and send that drum mic kit my way?
