Some good advice right there. As someone who is involved in the electrical trade, I know the importance of a solid ground, but I didn't know that it could affect your sound that much. The GFCI tester that he showed is a nice cheap, quick fix.
Somewhat related, I remember a few years ago I was jamming with a buddy in his garage, and I didn't really notice that I was standing in a little puddle, and everytime I pushed a string down on a fret, I got a nice little shock. It hurt.

well im thinkin it has to be one of those hick-esque travel showers that people got in the back of their rv's. so its just like a circular curtain and you run a garden hose to it. well anyways, we get my buddies playin then he drop it from the ceiling on him and turn on the shower.
