I've said it before and I'll say it again....these boards on DMBTabs.com is home to some of the best users on the Internet.

Everyone is extremely helpful and almost everyone is extremely nice. As opposed to other boards, this one just focuses on guitar/musicians so it brings together our love of playing instruments w/ our love of DMB. The boards has always been about MUSIC first and DMB/whatever second and that's what I feel the #1 trait that makes this place so great.

And regardless of anything, it's not me that makes this site great...it's all of you guys. You bring these discussions and lessons and tips and everything else to the table. If the website was JUST a website and no message boards existed, it wouldn't be nearly as big as it is now. Without all you guys the site would just be another place to visit once every other day or so.

So you can go and thank me all you want for putting the site up and giving you all the opportunity to be here....BUT REMEMBER, without all of you...it wouldn't be anything.

So my thanks goes out to my users for taking my pet project of a website and making it an amazing place for people to congregate and learn

EDIT: Just because, I need to throw out the other necessary thanks
Xoosh: Started w/ that great layout and really got the site going from a visual standpoint
Joshia: The current layout is among one of the greatest I've ever seen and the new one is awesome as well...so professional looking and all on your personal time in between work....amazing
Brock: Where to start...with you we're taking DMBTabs.com to a new level and I wouldn't rather have anyone else heading up the project...you do some really amazing stuff

and finally
Jared Pittman: I can't say enough about you man. We took DMBTabs.com from nothign more than a bunch of text files and created a backend that is enormous and amazing at the same time. I had the idea...but not the drive/time to make it happen. You had the same idea...we worked together and started this place. If only there was words enough to explain how much you did and how in debt I am to you. THANK YOU is all I can say....you never got enough credit for your work because as a programmer...no one really sees the stuff, they just use it and expect it to work. I know the feeling but I just want you to know how happy I am that you sent me that original e-mail. It changed my life...........glad I could "pay you back" w/ that free DMB concert but that doesn't even come close to what you deserve.....thanks again man

i love this forum, but i still wish some of the great players (not to say there aren't great players here now, because there certainly are) were still around because that's just one more person for me to learn from

I was only half serious. It just seemed pretty negative esp. in the context of this thread. I know what you mean though. There's hardly anyone to get into pointless discussions about music theory with. I miss those. :D

aww... so mean.

fyi, on the internet i may be average, but in my school and shit... im like the only person that can play alot of the rythm stuff like dave and howie day and other such bands. and i think my most recent covers have proven me to be a decent guitarist. lets not talk about singing. its overrated anyways
