Ok excuse my Ignorance. Just a quick one.
Now if im looking at a tab, and for example i see this 1/5 i'll know to slide from first to fifth. But on Big eyed fish, when i see this /9

What the hell does this mean? Slide from mid air to the fifth and ninth? :D

You pretty much slide one way, however far you think you should and then release

You start sliding somewhere close to the bottom of the fret board like around fret 3 or so.
