Explain to me what is wrong with lower-end taylors

Want to ask about strings, maintenance, amps, mics, or comparisons of different guitars or any music equipment? This is for all threads related to music equipment.

not including the X series cause the taylors are woods, so well use the woods...


theres the d-15, damn fine guitar

the DM-another good guitar

the 000M-never played one myself, but i hear they are good

the 00015-another good one

DR-never played one but still hear they are good

D-16GT- also a good guitar.



so there you go, taylor has 2 good guitars under $1000, and martin has 7 good ones. martin will be able to give you more range if your on a budget.

if you like real wood and not wood carbonate laminate then they aren't good.

i'm sure the sound is fine.

the 214 is all real wood
