Alright, I changed one note in the verse and added the chorus. In the verse, try playing a Cmaj7 at the end as shown. It adds more to that discordant sound you got going on.

For the chorus, I came up with a kind of odd idea. I played around with some standard progressions but I thought that the song didn't have enough dynamic with it. This chorus is kind of energetic and upbeat while the verse is more somber. In my mind, it's kind of like the verse would have more depressing lyrics over it while the chorus was more aggresive and a bit more charged and inspired, but it dwindles back down to the verse. I don't know how to explain it.

If you want me to record it on my camera, let me know. Unfortunately I don't have a mic or i'd whip something up real quick. Give it a whirl and let me honestly know what you think. If you think it sucks, let me know, I really don't mind. Just experimenting a bit. I have some more standard ideas I could throw at ya too if you want me to. Anyhow, i'm going to the gym, see you soon.

yea thats the way i play the verse i accidently put the extra note on my last chord. ill have to try that chorus out. looks real good though and thanks a lot man. now the only problem will be coming up with the rest of the lyrics. the song is about breaking up with my g/f.........how original.
