yuera, do you have an acoustic amp or an electric amp? cause i play on an electric amp and it sounds like a shit box...thats why i am asking for a new amp for christmas

i play my acoustic elec ona 10w practice amp, electric marshall, its fine, sounds pretty good. dont set it on clean. put very little distortion on it, sounds better taht way. i dont know about other amps, but thats how i use mine.

yeah, very little tho, its not even noticable. its the same thing as clean, except you get more warmth and tone.

I've plugged my guitar in to many amps and pa's... same crappy sound to me. I was reading earlier to one of the reply's and "tinny" is the best described sound i was looking for and to me thats a horrible sound, this definately isnt just my taylor, all taylor with the ES sound like that to me. The thing i cant get over is how amazing it plays, to me, the play and action quality of the guitar is greater than how it sounds to me so thats what keeps me playing it. My friend also recommended getting an L.R. Baggs Paracoutic DI so maybe I'll look in to that.
