Well, to put a long story short, my car was broken into last weekend while I was at home, packed for a show. They stole my 314ce (2002 model) as well as my cheap student alto sax.
I just got a call back from the insurance company today, and I'm getting a check for the purchase amounts of the sax and guitar... I went to a local music store tonight and found a brand new 30th Anniversary 314ce (with ES, Myrtlewood inlays, etc.) for $1,500... I'm going to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Thats a bummer dude. But I'm sure you'll be pretty damn happy with that 314CE.

Insurance Company ???
They insure your guitar? How much do you pay a month and what do they cover.

Car was in front of my house, therefore homeowner's insurance covered it.

I have renters insurance for all the items in my apartment and I specfically asked about guitar coverage and they said it covers it. I would break bones if someone stole my guitars and I caught them.

Update for pics.
That's my Squier P-Bass... it was free, and the "New Power"... well, I had a "
www.dtmpower.net" window sticker left over and I was bored.
