Alright ya turdburglars, my brother's camera records sound so i'm gonna record it for you and send it to praisedave in a minute. I may run out of batteries though so I might have to go run and get some. Either way, you'll get it soon.

i kno i am not a great guitar player and i am a below average singer. you know that too. Every single thread in which you have responded to one of my comments you have said something insulting or degrading. You've admitted that you dont like me and frankly, i dont give a shit! get the hell over it and try to be contructive. in this thread for example your first postwas that i had potential at guitar, and i thank you for that. then you accused me of not listening to some1's advice because i asked a question about it in order to get more information so i can improve. then you said you were leaving because i explained myself. then you came back to say that you did not like me and now you're being a sarcastic asshole. just try completing this statement:
(name of user), i found your song (name of song) to show good examples of (good things). however i feel you could improve in these areas (bad things)

time for my critique

#1: SLOW DOWN. slooowww doooowwwn. it sounds like you literally took whatever prgram you're using, and playing this thing in fast forward.

#2: don't over do the lead tracks. i'm guessing you used the fills that i tabbed out for this? those are good, if you can use them correctly, and that is with moderation

#3: this has to do with the speed of the guitar as well...the vocals are not matching up. if you notice, the 31X3 chord lines up with key words in the song, and yours does not do that.

#4: like they said, you're talking, not singing. try and practice. sing along with dave. a lot. you'll get better. i promise. keep going, and listen to our advice. and keep practicing! practice more!!!!

thanks for the critique... i do have a tendency to play that song faster... its like deliverance... you just go faster and faster and faster until you hand falls off (plus i thought it would be easier to sing if i played it fast beacause i would not have to hold notes for too long). i havent seen your tab for fills... i just played it strait up on the lead... the first backcup was just the main riff ova and ova again at a low volume and the 2nd backup was an octave lower (thanks audacity) with the 1st half of the song bein the same riff and then after the 2nd two choruses i echoed the bridge. the singin is not perfectly matched up... i kno. i dont practice singin at all and i should. thanks again

The pause occurs right after the 2-3. I tried to slow it down and emphasize it in the video. Just start slow and work your way up. If you need more help with that or want me to re-record it, let me know.

edit: i listened to it, and while that is the way dave plays it, the way i play it doesnt mess up the timing... i just replaced the pause with 3's, my own little twist
