all depends on your budget, but I own a Martin J12-15 that cost about $650 and you get all that Martin tone and a great guitar to playl...If that is out of your budget, I suggest a model by Takamine (I think its the 334c, I forgot)...I played one once a guitar store and the tone wasnt bad and it tuned up pretty easily...

yeah be careful, 12 strings are difficult to fret if you are not used to playing them and any low end guitar, especially a 12 string is nearly impossible to play past the 4th fret.

I've seen decent entry level Fender's for like $199.
