that is ridiculous, as long as martin kept it and its like hanging on a wall in their office I guess it ok. If its meant to be played or they sold it than its stupid. If I got my hands on it, Id rock out some power chords then slam it Kurt Cobain style, jk. And how the hell do they know for sure its the one millionth guitar theyve ever made, I guarantee theyre off by at least a few.

Each guitar is numbered..they can count all of them by checking their records of their guitars madejsgksu wrote:that is ridiculous, as long as martin kept it and its like hanging on a wall in their office I guess it ok. You dont think in the MILLION guitars they made, from day one, they havent messed up at some point. I know its a dumb point to push but still, that is not the exact millionth guitar theyve ever made, Id guarantee it.DMBFan63 wrote:Each guitar is numbered..they can count all of them by checking their records of their guitars madejsgksu wrote:that is ridiculous, as long as martin kept it and its like hanging on a wall in their office I guess it ok. Well it kind of can't be, i'm sure. The luthier started to work on it back in 2002. There's been so many guitars produced since then that this one can't be 1,000,000. Either that or it's been completed, but they waited for number 999,999 to come along to say "voila!" we finished number 1,000,000. It's most likely just symbolic of being the 1,000,000th martin made.
