any carter-style drummers Flint area?

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

any carter-style drummers Flint area?

Unread post by timgoodrich1 » Thu Jan 16, 2003 3:47 pm

I'm just wondering if there's any drummers out there who got a little skill who would be interested in playing some stuff together. I play acoustic guitar and I'm already hooked up with a good bassist. I live in Flint, MI

I know a carter styled drummer in White Sands, Maryland.. he's INCREDIBLE... 18 years old and can play every DMB song ... and honestly i think he could put carter to shame at a few points... he's incredible. his AIM is yggdrasilmethod

Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

Hey I'm from Flint. I go to school at CMU now, but I'll be home for the summer. I play the acoustic guitar as well, but I also play the saxophone and a little piano. The drummer I used to be in a band with played like Carter and could mimic most of his stuff, however he didn't have a huge drumset and he never wanted to practice. Anyway, I think we should get together and jam. Let me know.

I tried to play drums a while ago...I didn't manage to play well, lack of sense of rhythm...then I started to play the guitar.
