Had a great jam tonight...

Had a great jam tonight...

Went out to the garage tonight and jammed Dave tunes for two hours. Everything clicked - guitar, vocals. Great time. There's just something about playing DMB on a hot and humid night.

Just wanted to share...

sweet man. jam sessions are always fun. im the only guy i know whos really into playing dave though :(

it was kinda funny earlier though... i was playing watchtower on my friends ovation and his girlfriend kept muting as i was playing and it actually sounded pretty cool lol.

the folks that i can jam w/ dont play dave either. they play some good stuff but no dave. there is the required sweet home alabama jam... 8)

and yes, hot humid evenings are awesome w/ playing. im a night owl so to keep from waking everyone up, i sometimes go outside and play for the crickets. they always talk during my set though... :lol:

I know one person that jam's with me that plays dave... Shane, i known what you mean man, whenever i'm playin songs, people(usually girls) like, put there hand over the strings to annoy me and it usually sounds kinda cool.. :-p

I might be jammin by myself friday night for a few friends cuz we're gonna have a big ole fire in my backyard. That will be my first time if it happens. Everyone else will probably think I'm sweet since they will all be stoned. Not me, although I wonder what it would be like if I did play guitar stoned. Anybody try it???

I had a nice little jam session on friday. Down at the campground I was staying at while I was in Pittsburgh for the Dave concert. Sat aroud the fire fairly drunk and played about 10 songs while about 5 of my friends sang to all the tunes. We played all the songs that Dave didnt play on Thursday that we wanted to hear and hoped he would play friday night, it was a pretty good time. Just thought Id share.
