I've never played a taylor before, what am i missing

were not insulting alphatabs, and we know theres better stuff than taylor... but he says the only reason people buy taylors and martins and the like is because dave and people use them... and then he uses a washburn to try to show a better product, ive played a 914, and a 714, both kill that washburn, some of the higher breedloves ive played, kill the taylors... i know theres better, but theyre still good instruments, and if and when i get one, its not cause dave plays one.

And i can see why you guys love them so much. you are the kind of people who have been around and found what you want. no matter what guitar you have, there is always going to be something better. maybe using washburn as a comparison isn't so great but i'm just trying to open your minds. it's all about personal opinion baby! as of right now i play a Talman, (insert insult here) and I prefer it over a Chet in many ways, but that's neither here nor there.

yeah man, im prolly gonna get an epi chet soon, and then start buildin my own, cause i mean theres allot of ideas i have, and i cant get those, under around $6000... making it, i can do it for much less, and be able to say "bitch... i made that fucker."

hell yeah, you'll get major props for that. If i didn't already have a guitar in the whole "mobile acoustic" catagory i would get a chet becuase they kick an ovations ass.

yeah i figure the chet is the way to go, cause the first guitar im buildin an acoustic, and im getting a 100 watt acoustic amp really soon, with effects, and i figure nows the time to get the chet i wanted. ive got soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many plans for my guitars though.

whats the basic idea of urs and where you gettin the supplies?

prolly gonna get a martin kit, jumbo body, mahogany back and sides, spruce top. but im not married to martin so any thing like that, maybe a different kit... abalone inlays. I want 24 frets idealy... the headstock inlay will be an om symbol
in pearl.... bone sadle and nut, ebony fretboard, rosewook bridge. gold hardware... and i dont know if i want a fishman matrix, or if i want a fishman blender, to get it miced.

no it means peace and tranquility in hinduism. its a mantra to bring innner peace to ones self.

i hope it does mean peace and tranquility... i did a project for school once on samurai warriors and i used a symbol i got ofline that supposedly meant wisdom... we looked it up in a book and it meant basically prostitute (technically permiscuous woman)

make the necklace. get a disk of nice wood and burn it in.
