another new original: By the Morning

Unread post by juineaux » Sun Dec 05, 2004 11:54 pm

Here's another new original of mine. Tell me what you think-

http://s94451478.onlinehome.us/bythemorning.mp3
Also I apologize for the 20 seconds of silence tacked on after the song was over, that was a mistake.

--Lyrics--
Pale, Pale morning and Im hardly waiting for the moon to fall past my head
And when The fire of your mind has surely left you,
and you're cold and bitter and anything but kind
And when the Blue of the Blue blue sky has
faded down all away, and down to grey
(chorus)
By the morning I'll be gone
By the morning I'll be gone
By the morning I'll be gone

Pull in, Pull out, and pull and pull in doubt
West Virginia where's we lie, but Ohio's is where we die, sorry love
Her Red hair and my crack tooth smile
I think I'll stay here a while till' my love runs through the ground
(chorus)

I thought it was ok. I don't like so much all the acapella. It's done in such a way that I wonder whether it is complete. Seems like you have cool lick going but you don't know how to fill the inbetween while you are singing (perhaps because the cool lick is hard to play and sing at the same time) but I feel like there should be some nice chord strumming at least behind your singing. But that's just my two cents..

Great little tune. Thanks for posting the lryics too because now I can honestly say that I enjoyed those as well. Nothing left to say other than when does the album come out? I will definately buy it.

The recording quality on this seems leaps and bounds ahead of your other stuff. Is this from the new record in the works? It sound fabulous.

Thanks, the album should be out by the middle of january by the latest. I am gonna try to sell it on CDbaby.com for as little as I can afford, just so people can pick it up easily. $6 or $7, sound good? This is my first time doing this, so if anyone has suggestions, please help.

I am very happy with the recording quality as well.
Everyting was recorded live(in the studio), so I was really suprized how it turned out :D
