Just wanted to know what some of your favorites were. Personally my fav is Good Riddance by Green Day. It's kind of just like a chill out song.. I like that

But that song isn't an electric song to begin with, is it? Right off the top of my head, I would probably choose 1979 by Pumpkins, or some songs from Sublime, like Santeria, What I Got and Doin' Time.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

The best one ever is A Certain Shade of Green by Incubus. The electric version is crazy, and the acoustic version sounds so smooth and amazing, I can't describe it.

note: This is probably the 50th time I mentioned this song!

Creep!
"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

Yes, in fact, the entire acoustic performance from When Incubus Attacks Volume 2 should be mentioned. Stellar, Clean, Pardon Me, ACSoG, Summer Romance, and of course The Warmth are all real sweet songs performed acoustically.

my buddy and i have an absolutely badass work up of metallica's sandman, some pretty cool stuff with some pretty atypical strumming/mute styles-when we play it people are like....wait a minute....that's sandman....that's not an acoustic song...but yet...pretty cool. my 2 cents

I would have to say one of the coolest acoustic versions of and electric song I have ever heard is when STP did a cover of Pour Some Sugar on Me!

They totally nail the song and it sounds way better than the original.

Check out the cover of the song if you have never heard it before!
