Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

or would that be too hard to do?

Extremely hard! lol, any instrument with no fret. Technique is also very technical.

It would be harder to learn after playing guitar
I played cello for 7 years and it was never a problem but now when I go back to it occasionally (I don't play anymore) it seems harder to get the pitch right because there are no frets. Seriously consider the cello too, it's a great instrument

I say go for it, it may be hard but it would be a fun challenge and you would be broadening your musical knowledge
