A very gracious member here let me download all of the Lost Acoustics from him over AIM. Man, these are great. If you play Dave tunes these songs and L@LC are a must to help you learn. Without the rest of the band, it makes hearing the guitar parts so much easier.
I was wondering if anyone had any SHNs or could do a B&P of WAV-quality recordings. The MP3 sourced ones are okay, but I've found a lot of the songs on Volume 3 especially, sound kind of "watery". Do the original WAV files sound this way? Anyway, if anyone has a way I could download the SHNs/WAVs, or if someone want to do a B&P of high-quality version, PM me. Thanks!

the ones on the 3rd disc are not soundboard like the other ones...they are taken from radio braodcasts that dave did....so that is the best that they will sound....i do not have the wav nor the shn files
The lost acoustsics are a 3 volume cd of dave and tim tunes that are of soundboard quality including some tracks like leave me praying...dream i killed god and what not.....they are great to listen to....
they are not necessarily the best version of the song best they are the best sound quality of the song

The version of Crush is an especially good version. The only thing I don't like in that song is the jam. I think Timmy went a little too spaz on that. Anyone else hear feel that he goes a bit overboard sometimes? I mean with all the delay effects and everything and trying to play a thousand miles an hour all the time?
I think he sometimes detracts from the greatness of Dave's songs. Other times he adds the perfect amount of "lead" to a tune (L@LC #41 for example). I'll probably get flamed for Timmy-bashing, but I think at times he's a little too wild. Less is more sometimes.
