yup, got it a couple weeks ago. Love it. Distored reality and Last Hour are my favorites I think, along with Twilight.

I can play say yes, between the bars, and miss misery. Also I play his cover of BigStar's song Thirteen.

Edit: All three of these are easy and good places to start. When this semester ends I'm going to sit down and learn angeles (my favorite song) and son of sam.
Other easy ones are Waltz #2, Needle in the Hay, and Color bars.

Elliott was going to release a massive 2 cd album...but since he died his family released From a Basement on the Hill with as much finished material as they could.

in accuality, his family cut down the album due to a handful of songs about commiting suicide due to his step-father molesting him when he was younger...poor bastard, never had a chance... :(

are they like completely wrong? i could still use them as a basis to figuring it out right? i've been meaning to learn his stuff for a long time, and this thread has sparked my interest.

so are they THAT bad?

No, they aren't. Some are very good, and others simply have the general idea.

Songs like Southern Belle and Angeles are definitely not right.. Also, alot songs are just chords names which im not a big fan of.
