Salisbury Hill

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Did you see the link I just posted from a peter Gabriel cd? It shows it's spelled Solsbury Hill
you are too nice.
If you're trying to be an ass to me, take it somewhere else. I'm not gonna argue over it. I said I didn't know of any tabs, and corrected his statement by finding him a link of a peter gabriel cd..
no, I'm not trying to be an ass. it was my way of complimenting you on how you handled the situation. notice the winking emoticon which usually signifies a light-hearted tone. there are a lot of people on these boards that would have reemed his ass, but I, and aparently you are not that way. in conclusion, settle down.
sorry bro, I usually take a wink as sarcasm on forums..

Thanks

100% correct. Dave only sings on this one. he only caresses his guitar, doen't play it.

did anyone here know that the guitarist of Salsbury Hill (PG) was in fact Robert Fripp of King Crimson?

Fripp also did some amazing work on the album HEROES by David Bowie...

just some minor trivia for any music nuts out there lol

Come on, really? Salisbury Hill? This song is of course entitled Solsbury Hill and it has been said that this song is about Peter's split from Genesis.

-Not to be confused with Genosis.

Finally, the tab is not too tough, it's online, search for it. It's appregiated chords, G and C and D and I believe it's with a capo.

Peace,

CJT

I hope that was sarcasm.

And to back up speen. Dave didn't play anything while they covered it. He just held his guitar during the intro & Verse.
