J T R at Folsom Field

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

for the pull off in J T R? Just pull downward on the string and let it come out from under your finger..the song is pretty simple once you get it down

do you know what a pull off is?

you pretty much have your finger on on a fret, and you play the string, and while it's still ringing, you "pull your finger off" of the fret which creates another sound of an open string.

do it the way dmbfan said above

i guess what i'm trying to say is that on the DVD it sounds like he does just a tad bit more variation (and he prolly does) on the pull off and what is listed on the tabs ive found.

other than that the song is easy...just thought maybe i was missing something that everyone else finds to be a piece of cake

Pull down instead of straight off.

That sets the open string back in motion and it gives it more volume/sounds better instead of a mushy pulloff.
