New Album...
if blue water and loving wings are the two...i'd be very happy because those are two of my fav. songs. but, i also like the live aspect of those songs, and the fact that they've been played for only live audiences kinda makes me biased towards leaving them off of a studio.
blue water is so old, it just seems like its days are in the past....but i'd abosolutely love to hear those two songs in the studio. i guess what i'm saying is that , those are the communitie's songs, and putting them on studio seems almost.....not worthy of the normal audience to hear them.....i'm a bit tipsy now so if i dont make sense, whatever...but do you guys agree?

It's just opening the songs up to another community, for them to hear the great things we get to hear. It's like dmb says about big stadiums as well as clubs, it can still be very intimate, and they make it that way. They can make it intimate in the studio as well as live.gravesRR7 wrote:if blue water and loving wings are the two...i'd be very happy because those are two of my fav. songs. but, i also like the live aspect of those songs, and the fact that they've been played for only live audiences kinda makes me biased towards leaving them off of a studio.

late spring, theyre shootin for aprilcarter29 wrote:I like the mystery of the rare live songs, it seems like thats their place. I wouldnt mind hearing all new tunes, but then again if JTR showed up i would be pumped, as for Granny i think its cool as is, its a live song known by all DMB fans so it wouldnt add anything really to be out in the studio and not having a crowd chanting "love!" "Baby!"
When is the album going to be released? I am so pumped no matter what

I got it!!!! Get In Line!!!!
It makes more sense than Blue Water. It's been confirmed to be worked on in the studio for Crash, BTCS, LWS, and Busted Stuff, just always put aside. It's an old tune, rocking for the album, and the beats with Carter and the jam is great to do. I could see a studio version of this so easily, much more than Blue Water (which would be great, no offense). Just think, listen to the song, and think of the new album, it works!
My new perdiction:
Get In Line and Monkey Man -- 75% sure

I have never heard this "Get In Line" that you speak of. What are the best versions of it? What shows?
