Dave chords

Unread post by coyoteguy » Sun Nov 28, 2004 10:12 pm

When Dave play the chords that are in Grey Street, Billies, and So Damn Lucky (7xx7, 2xx2, 3xx4 type), he does a lot of fingering to switch chords. Does anyone know how he plays these chords? Hopefully you guys understand what I am saying.

Billies, he has index and middle on the 2xx2 and then ring and pinky hovering over 3xx4 to push down, then moves it up for 5xx6 and 7xx7.

i THINK this will answer your question. start using all four fingers from the beginning. it's easy to use just your index and middle at the start, but it's worth the extra practice to use them all from the start.

ive always found that using all four fingers on those chords is just extra for something that doesnt really need it. its pretty easy with two fingers, working to learn to do it with all four just seems like a waste of time
