Grey Street's 3rd Verse

Unread post by carter29 » Sun Nov 28, 2004 8:45 pm

Why don't they play the 3rd verse live?

Great song though, love that live ending

DAVE said that they always debated taking out the last chorus and the last verse of the song, but was never too sure. They then began to play it like that, and felt it jammed better and the song was much better that way, so they play it that way.

I, sadly, disagree 100%.

I also disagree, i would rather hear the third verse, i loved how on busted stuff each chorus grew and grew, but its different without the 3rd verse. oh well.

Grey St. is ruined.

I remember listening to every version the day or two after they were played in the summer of 2000, and it was awesome. Not only did they have the third verse, but the lyrics changed nightly. Go check out some lyrics from 2000 Grey Sts.
