it could also be due to the fact that the other boards(bridge/ants) think they are musical gods(yea right). they put down every cover I've seen posted...even if it was awesome they would still have a problem with it, and not even give any form of constructive criticism at all....just "man, you suck"....Well I can't just say "they", because there are a couple nice guys on there, but there is quite a few assholes...I never post my covers over there...the bridge fuckin sucks...
and there topics are soooo boring and lame...all technical bullshit it seems...thats what makes a board boring, when it gets too technical

and most of them are not musicians, they are just complainers. "i hate this song and that solo..." without any understanding of where it comes from.
plus, if dmb doesnt play the maker, dreaming tree, PFWYG, Stone, and cry freedom in one concert, it was a shitty concert.

We all have one similar, particular interest, and that is playing some guitar. Playing some dave on guitar. I have found that most dave playing guitar players are pretty cool guys. Heh. The other boards must be very hostile because there are so many people, and just liking DMB doesn't mean you're a very fun person. Anyone who has a remote interest in dmb can find those huge boards, while this one is a little bit more tucked away on the net, where the real people come, who tend to be pretty cool.
