Don't drink the water help
Well, on the tab it shows verse part 1 and then it has a little thing that says ends on but its blank. anyone care to tell me what the verse ends on? this song is awesome, i just cant get past the part where you strumm the 0577xx.

the verse ususally ends when dave's voice goes up like on "and as you go i will spread my wings."
your best bet is to listen to the bass. when it's not doing that DDTW thumping that it does, you're most likely on the 5557xx chord. that's how i did it. i'm sure someone will give you more fancy help with a recording or something, but there's a start.
