Raised B Tuning trouble

Unread post by mango206 » Mon Nov 22, 2004 3:15 pm

:? Hey When i try to raise my Tuning to B for the songs "Oh" , and "Stay or Leave"~ atleast two of my guitar strings break everytime; its suicide!! so im curious am i doing something wrong, or is there a special way to raise the tuning carefully~ or is there a certain type of gauge of strings that work best! Im bummed, i wanna play these songs however it will cost me a fortune!! Plz reply anyone and tell whats on ur mind, Thx
~Chad

if ur gonna tune to raised b make sure its on another guitar, cause once u put in into raised u cant get it to standard again (unless u restring it of course)
