Unread post by dmfollower » Fri Nov 26, 2004 5:58 pm

I don't know what the name of the song is cause i don't no young songs that well but the first few words are "ten soldiers and nixon gone and we're finally on our way." Anyway, i heard a tim song w/o words ofcourse but starts playing that song. Totally badass. Anyone know/have a tab for this song?

Use a search. There was a brief bit of an argument between Pat and another a while ago over that song, and in the thread there is tablature.

ya its pretty cool.

if you're looking for a tab for the song that's accurate try this
Main riff:
D5 F C(I) D5 F C(I)
D|-------------------------|-------------------------|
B|--3----3--3------ -------|--3--- -3--3--------------|
G|--0h2-2--0-- ---0 ------|--0h2--2--0-----0--------|
D|---------- ---3-------0--|---------- ---3-----------|
A|-------------- -----3-----|------------ -------3-----|
D|-------------------------|-------------------------|

Verse:
D5 F C(I)
Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
D5 F C(I)
We're finally on our own
D5 F C(I)
This Summer I hear them drumming,
D5 F C(I)
Four dead in Ohio

Chorus:
Gm C
Gotta get down to it, soldiers are cutting us down
Gm C
Should have been done long ago
Gm C
What if you knew her and, found her dead on the ground
Gm C
How can you run when you know?

I don't know how to do the code thning so if it comes up all wierd i'll post a link to it
