New Album...
Ok, i feel pretty confident about posting all of this info because a few very very reputable sources have given this too me....
anyway...
As we all know DMB is back in the studio in virginia, and from what i hear, have been working for weeks, and have a few tracks done, as daughty's blog suggests... There is all but a "produced by..." tag on dr. dre producing this one, wich i hope holds true...
now... from these sources ive gained that the album will be around 10-12 tracks, with 2 oldies, now, he pretty much confirmed that 1 would be blue water, and the other many were thinking older tunes... i myself thought, and hoped to god for it to be heathcliffs, but he then came back and threw in a little something "The old tracks I said don't have to mean anything from 92 or 93...it could mean something from Feb of 2000."
now, that bassically leaves 3 songs it could be for the third, SUAD, Monkey Man, and JTR... i dont know wich outa the 3, im hopin JTR, but i doubt thatll happen... but considering on the new warehouse album, theres a bluewater--->JTR anything is possible.
He also said there would be 3 maybe 4 guests... I think we can all agree Butch will be one, since the new songs weve heard were writin in tour rehersal and butch helped shape and create them... and the other two, he wouldnt say, but well, lets just say, Tim and Bela were in virginia recently...
He also said the release date will be a late spring, hopefully april... and said there would be no winter tour, but someone else will be going on a tour.... now i doubt that means boyd, cause who gives a damn? and mostly that leaves dave... i doubt d+f cause trey seems to be busy and whatnot... and prolly not solo, cause thatd be kickass, but akward... im thinkin d+t with the recent show in seatle witht he 2 of them, tim almost garunteed to work on this album, and whatnot, and already rumors about it, it seems plausable...
now most of this is fact based on what ive heard through reputable persons that are thought to either be Dave, Lorraine, Glen Ballard, Fenton...
a little speculation on my part about exact songs and guestsis thrown in, but the rest is straight from the camels mouth.
anyway...

Mystery Producer isn't really a surprise, all of you know who it is. I'm thinking really hard right now on how to say who it is...
Damn, I will come up with something good I promise.
Late spring release. (Like I said April would always be better)
No winter tour by the band (but someone else will be on the road this winter for a small one).
That's about it. 2 older tunes are looking like they will be on the disc, and probably 10 tracks.
Off into the shadows I go.
