i don't advise Jasmine. I have a Jasmine that was given as a gift. This finish was absolutly pathetic (S34C) and it sounds like a cat scratching a blackboard. Washburn rules. :P

Jasmine = shit

You'd be better off getting the Estaban guitar.

Any cheapo dred is usually only able/capable of being played up until the 4th fret. After that, they usually sound as bad as they are cheap to own.

I don't know why everyone is hating on jasmine. I have one.. i don't know the model number, its at school right now, but i think it sounds amazing with elixir nanowebs on it.. it was right around 130 dollars, it has the jumbo body style i believe. I always get compliments on how well it sounds and people asking me how much i payed for it.

Its not solid wood or anything, but it sounds good enough for what i payed for it.. maybe i just got a lucky one. There is no buzzing or anything.

If you're going to use Elixirs, put on the polywebs.

because nanoweb is like any regular string. The coating doesnt do much. Polyweb is more distinct to exilirs, and really different.
