tripping billies

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

tripping billies

after 11 months of hard work there has not been one song that has given me more trouble than tripping billies... the intro to master of puppets came easier than the verse for TB... i am proud to say i can now play it 8) - now for perfecting it :)

congrats shane

it's weird, this song didn't give me trouble. i just learned it and was like "so that's how it goes..." the rhythm took a while because i had to listen to a ton of different versions of billies...the stone and especially warehouse are the hard ones for me...

i'm probably playing it totally wrong though so....

Is this the same One Sweet World intro thats on L@LC? If so, that was about the easiest Dave I ever picked up on. I didnt have any problem with learning the Billies verse either (although I'm probably light years off even though I am playing the right thing). On the other hand though, it took me absolutely forever....and im not joking...about a year and a half of playing...before I picked on up the rythm to Crash.

they play it live almost every time, save for a few years in the mid-90's, so if you d/l a show, you'll probably get it.
