Road tripping tab RHCP

Unread post by HW--1 » Fri Nov 19, 2004 8:44 am

Does anyone have a good tap for Road Tripping by the red hot chilli peppers they use? I have found loads of them on the net but they are all different...

Hope you can help

That song sounds hard. I never took a stab at it. John Frusciante (sp?) is wicked good.

Thanks. That's good to hear. I'll try and play it sometime soon. Do you have a good tab Sciaracastro?

(Intro)

(2x Riff 1)
Road trippin' with my two fav'rite allies.
Fully loaded we got snacks and supplies.
(Riff 2)
It's time to leave this town, it's time to steal away.
(Riff 1)
Let's go get lost anywhere in the U.S.A.
(Riff 2)
Let's go get lost, let's go get lost.
(4x Riff 1)
Blue, you sit so pretty west of the one.
Sparkles light with yellow icing, just a mirror for the sun.
Just a mirror for the sun.
Just a mirror for the...
(2x Riff 3) ...sun.
These smiling eyes are just a mirror for...
(2x Riff 1)
So much as came before those battles lost and won.
This life is shining more forever in the sun.
(Riff 2)
Now let us check our heads and let us check the surf.
(3x Riff 1)
Staying high and dry's more trouble than it's worth in the sun.
Just a mirror for the sun.
Just a mirror for the...
(2x Riff 3) ...sun.
These smiling eyes are just a mirror for...

(Interlude)

(2x Riff 1)
In Big Sur we take some time to linger on.
We three hunkly dories got our snake finger on.
(Riff 2)
Now let us drink the stars, it's time to steal away.
(Riff 1)
Let's go get lost right here in the U.S.A.
(Riff 2)
Let's go get lost, let's go get lost.
(4x Riff 1)
Blue, you sit so pretty west of the one.
Sparkles light with yellow icing, just a mirror for the sun.
Just a mirror for the sun.
Just a mirror for the...
(4x Riff 3) ...sun.
These smiling eyes are just a mirror for...
These smiling eyes are just a mirror for...
Your smiling eyes are just a mirror for...
(Outro)
