it doesnt work like that. (im looking into the same thing...not the same mic, but i mic-setup) you can't just get an adapter and just plug it in. you'll need somekind of mic preamp (usb, firewire). this will be more than the mic.Mulletman wrote:so i could just throw a xlr adapter to 1/4 and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter on that and plug it in directly no problem? hrmmmm nice. i think that may be a better idea than the sm58 cuz it would be more versatile if i want to just mic my guitar..........thanks man!
