Seeing DMB Live
Seeing DMB Live
Ok i live up here in Nova Scotia Canada, and i go to university. So money is tight and the closest DMB has ever come to me was quebec (16 hour drive) and this tour they didnt even go there, only Ontario which is about 25 hours away, or fly for about 300-400$ canadian.
I see that you boys/gals have seen an ass-load of DMB concerts, does anyone have any travelling tips to save money? It's my dream to see DMB live in concert, last i almost went to ontario to see them with some buddies but it fell through.
So any ideas to help me see DMB?

Re: Seeing DMB Live
get up like a group of people, rent a camper/RV, and all chip in on money, and driving, soo the 16 hours will be fun, and not as expensive as it would be to go alone or fly.carter29 wrote:Ok i live up here in Nova Scotia Canada, and i go to university. plan a vacation around a show...thats what i've always wanted to do even though i've seen 18 shows. Flying somewhere just for one night isnt worth it i think. travel somewhere cool and spend a few days before or after a show. i think that would be a good idea. i'm looking at the gorge this summer....after watching the dvd, its makes the decision to fly there so much easier...i'd rather spend the extra money and fly rather than driving across country.
my trading list...IM me for a B&P anytime.

Is that true? hahamlb1399 wrote:You could always donate plasma. That paid for 2 spring breaks for me while I was in college.
Yeah me and my buddies were gonna borrow a van and share the driving and have a sweet time on the way there but we couldnt get the van. But i like the idea of renting a RV then you dont need a hotel, kill 2 birds with one stone...any body have any cool travelling stories while going to see DMB?

im getting a bunch of my freinds to go to the Gorge in 2005 hopefully. we decided not to drive, because the car would prob. break down, maintenece, gas, etc......what i decided was.....you can get unlimited train usage for like a month in some companies for around $300. so we're going to get that. and leave a week or so early, and just stop at a bunch of cities and do like a road trip, only we dont have to drive. we can go anywhere we want, at a fixed cost.chauser wrote:plan a vacation around a show...thats what i've always wanted to do even though i've seen 18 shows.
