Arm trouble...

Unread post by DMBFan63 » Fri Jun 20, 2003 3:43 pm

I've been playing a lot lately, and my arm, right around my bicep/tricep have been hurting when I strum... any tips of a new strumming method or anything?

you might want to stop playing for a little bit. a couple hours maybe. give your arm a rest.

That happens to me sometimes. Just the strumming motion seems to cramp up the biceps. Take a day off.

Try to move more your hand and less your arm....don´t stay with your hand too rigid...if that´s the case...if not...just try to rest your arm more on the guitar...

Yeah, because you don´t use your biceps/triceps a lot for playing, so it must be hurting because you're not resting you arm well...

No, seriously.
