John Lennon Tribute

Anyone like the cover Dave did of "In My Life" at a Lennon tribute concert?

I am a beatles fan and love the original but dave did a sweet acoustic cover, i got the video of it too, but i cant see who is playing the piano haha is it butch by any chance or just someone else?

And i listened carefully to the very last line and i tihnk forgot the words just for a second haha he stalls on the last line. thats what it sounds like to me

I never like his version. I thought his voice was ill suited for that song. Just my opinion though.

Oh yeah i think the beatles did it the way it should have been done, but i think dave's is interesting

i loved Dave's cover of In My Life, the part where his voice cracks at the end always makes me tear up :(
