if you take them all off, and leave them off.

my best friends brother decided he would force me to change the strings on the guitar that i play every time i'm at their house (which is a lot)

so he took them off, but i hear that can fuck up the neck cause of the loss of tension or something.

info?

If left like that for a LONG time it may allow the neck to warp.

it's an old wives tale. absolutely nothing with happen to your guitar if you leave it with all of the strings off. that is actually the best way to store a guitar away.

*structurally speaking, it actually prefers not to have any strings on it at all.

wrong, if your trusrod is adjusted balance the pressure of the strings then you need to loosen the rod about about 1 guarter turn if you are going to store the instrument without strings. if not your neck will warp over time

When I restring I ALWAYS do them one at a time. Take the e off, replace, and so forth, but leaving all the others on.

the truss isnt tightened at that point... the neck will probably bend slightly nut thats easily fixed bu adjusting the truss rod

A guitar is designed to be kept with tension. I would leave it that way.

I also change my strings one at a time, everyonce in a while I take them all off to clean off the neck, but if I do I always get the strings back on in like 10 minutes... the guitar is made to have tension all the time..

Ask a luthier what would happen. I think they would be able to give you the best answer.
