the problem is, it has absolutely no sense of rhythm, the beat might as well not be there

also, it seems like the vocals and guitar were recorded completely seperately and then placed awkwardly on top of each other

just as a note i want to say i think drafts work best when there is nothing more than the voice and guitar. you can get too distracted trying to add other stuff.

Hmm...i'm guessing english isn't your first language? If not then i'd try learning some korean songs (those exist, right? j/k) Get REALLY good at singing them, then try attempting english songs. Sorry if I sound ignorant, it's late and I just got off work.

Generally, people lose there accents when they sing. I'd suggest just working on the technical aspects of singing and music rather than how to "lose the accent."

thanks for the replies, i followed mulletman suggestion and rerecorded it, it came out much better. you can check it out at my geocities website. i realize my voice doesn't matter right now, its the quality of my music. i am still a rookie at songwriting, compare to the brilliant people on this forum.
