I have the same addiction. DMB syndrome.
L@LC is constantly playing either in my head or CD player while I play.

He actually didn't steal your life Jason, you have some pretty awesome guitar skills to show for it. But it sounds like you are seeing things in proper perspective now.

absolutely everyone that knows me knows that dave matthews band and I go together. if we take a road trip we hardly ever take my car because nobody wants to listen to dave. dmb has saved me gas money
if i'm not working, i'm playing my guitar. i'm always listening to dave though, us cooks just bought a cd player for the kitchen so we can listen to dave while we cook. dave has sucked up about 4.5 years of my life, but its all been worth it!

i started listening to dave about 4 years ago, but just because it was on.. it wasnt until frosh year in college... a friend got me hoooked (cuz he is addicted... ) and now i blame him.. im totally addicted.. i have every cd, a ton of songs... and a love for music, through dave (if that makes sense..) i dont think dave stole any of my life.. it just let me see it through a different perspective

I think most things that are really passionate in life always involve love, hate and some form of obsession

This is how i justify my dave adiction

well im 13 and when i sit down to my guitar i play mostly dave songs. And if any of you guys are thinking "o he's only thirteen, how's it possible for him to learn anything that dave plays" Think again. I'm not trying to be a mean kind of guy, i'm just kind of tired of people saying that stuff, ya know? Well anyways, for the past two years i have been completley obsessed with dave and my sister is finally taking me to my first concert this summe in LA!!!! hope it rocks!
