I can think of two main rules in the trading community that must be followed:

The two-week rule... and NO CONVERSION TO MP3. It's not difficult, and it's an established rule.

Just to clarify, you can change the encoder you use in iTunes in the Preferences. Under Windows, you can use WAV; under Apple, you can use AIFF. Under either, you can use Apple Lossless - this is similar to SHN and FLAC, in that it has no loss in audio quality but reduces the filesize significantly. You can use this to import and then burn (although most traders prefer EAC to burn with).

ok, but this is my getfile, this isnt like me offering B&P or anything, this is for me and my friends to share concerts and videos we have, i thought maybe these guys will want in on this... sooo i mean this isnt just for DMBtabs this is for me to spread the love.

also a good majority of these files were videos, only 2 concerts, and the lost acoustics, and i got my LA from someone, on mp3 i dont have any complaints... and again, alll the original source files are on my PC, i saw no need to have 2 50 meg files, when i can have 1 50 and 1 5

Read through the source files on any of these shows you obtained from generous traders. What do they all say in all-capital letters with stars around them? The least you could do is respect their wishes - and they're not even out-of-line, and serve a very good purpose.
