right. youre going on purely cosmetic aspects, which is not a good idea. it could sound horrible, but just as long as it has a quilted back right?

it WILL NOT (and i must be redundent - WILL NOT) be solid wood. save your money.

why waste 300 dollars. You will only be able to buy another banger. don't think about buying another guitar until you get at least 1300. Then you can buy an instrument you can love for life. You can make 300 dollars in two weeks easy...yes even if you are a student

Bullshit, there are ways to pull down that much money, if you're serious about it. When I was 15 I worked 32 hours a week, while going to school. It can be done.

okay, i should specify:
this guitar is not for me and i am not payin for it. i would never buy a guitar based on cosmetics. this is for a cousin of mine, my grandparents are puttin up the dough, he'll prolly quit playin in 2 months and he wants a quilt. he has no idea what sounds better nor does he care. he has toldd me that a guitar is nothing more than a way to get chicks. hes wrong, i kno, dont bother tellin me. hes gettin guitar for christmas and ive been told to oversee the project. he ased for a quilt.

edit: my money is being saved for my building project scheduled for spring!

ahhh, you are justified now. Do get it set up properly though. If it is easy to play he might end up liking it!

I wish I was 15 or 16...it was easier to save money then. Med School is the poor house
