Original Guitar Solo: "Autumn in Tokyo"

Unread post by Jer1400 » Tue Nov 09, 2004 11:14 am

I wrote this in one day, believe it or not. Yeah, yeah, me and my damn MIDIs. Someone send me a mic.. :P

Being as this a guitar solo, though, it basically sounds the same as played live (minus volume control, ritardandos, tempo changes in general, harmonics, slides, etcetera). Heh. Nonetheless, I think it's still a good listen. In fact, I'm going to start on a medley of sorts; a solo guitar piece...today...we'll see how that goes.

C&C appreciated, as always. :)

Cheers,
Jer

Thanks Matty. So I was going through some old compositions the other day and I came across this one and decided to see if there was anything I could do to make it better. I might just be in a funk, but nothing really worked too well. Can anyone out there give some critiques on this one? Even if it's just a single note that you don't think fits just right.

I want to get this one done because my friend Dwight knows a guy who owns his own studio and is letting us do recordings there, so I'll record it sometime. Thanks in advance, all.

[Edit]

Oh, and that medley is nearing completion. You guys are really going to like it if you're into Final Fantasy and Zelda. :)
