I know a lot has been said about this
but I didnt find any video/audio and I cant play the chorus and the transition into the verse right. I need help please if anyone would be kind enough to hook me up I'll be eternally greatfull ;D

This song is very tough w/regards to timing. The chorus is "almost" free form, you gotta leave the right amount of space in between the D chord and the 4X2 5X3 chords.

Dave has said this song gives HIM trouble too.

Just keep practicing.

I doubt it gives Dave trouble. I don't have any problems with it and I am nowhere near Dave talent wise.

"When the World Ends is a tough song to play. I'm going crazy trying to learn that song. It's the groove, because the guy that's singing is so laid back, but the guy who's playing guitar, and the drums and everything are so funky and tight. I can't play that whole thing but that [verse]. I don't know, the rhythm is too hard. It's just getting me crazy. But I'll get it right one of these days, I'll just have to keep practicing."

That's surprising...I never had trouble with it from the start. Maybe because I listened to it from him instead of having to create it...

because he probably wrote the vocals and guitar part seperately. i think he's saying he has to learn to play it funky and sing it laid back at the same time. i've only tried it a few times, but i can't do it.
