Dave's strumming

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dave's strumming

Unread post by trippinbebbi » Sat Jun 07, 2003 10:11 am

So I'm working on perfecting Crash and noticed Dave's strumming on LS. It seems he's continuously strumming to keep the beat. Anyone care to explain if he's muting strings or only strumming the strings on certain up/down strums. I'm kind of new to guitar palying and can't figure out what he's doing...

Thanks

Crash is one of the few songs that he doesn't really mute on. Just listen for the rhythem and make sure those bass notes are clean.
